Leonida
Rockstar describes the setting as "Vice City, USA. The darkest side of the sunniest place in America", within the state of Leonida. Six regions are named officially:
- Vice City — "still the sun and fun capital of America"
- Leonida Keys — a tropical archipelago
- Grassrivers — a primordial expanse of mangroves
- Port Gellhorn — a once-popular vacation spot
- Ambrosia — "in the heart of Leonida", home of the Allied Crystal sugar refinery
- Mount Kalaga — a national landmark "up against the state’s northern border"
Story
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos "find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida".
The map
